Pope Leo XIV is the first US-born leader of 1.4 billion Catholics across the globe, born and raised in Chicago before going on to serve in Peru, Rome, and then Peru again. One of the perks of his new job is a Popemobile. While the rest of the Vatican has signed an agreement to go all-electric with Volkswagen, the Pope needs something a bit more special – and a lot more American.
