One of the rarest and most impressive feats a vehicle can achieve is rolling past one million miles. It’s an unfathomably high number, because most of us will ditch our vehicles well before they even reach 200,000 miles, let alone half a million. Double that? Insanity, but there have been plenty of vehicles with dedicated owners up to the task. They’re rigorous individuals who resolutely adhere to a strict maintenance schedule and aren’t afraid of replacing worn-out parts when they inevitably fail, and if this means replacing the engine, transmission, or suspension components many times over, then so be it.
