The Stellantis (technically Fiat Chrysler Automobiles at the time) Pentastar V6 went into production in 2010 for 2011 model-year vehicles. Since then, it has become one of the automaker’s core powerplants. While not particularly exciting, the Pentastar engine family has proven to be more than adequate for powering a variety of models, including pickups, coupes, sedans, minivans, and SUVs.
