Founded in 2004, Pluralsight is an online education platform that offers online courses primarily focused on software development. Since acquiring A Cloud Guru in 2023, Pluralsight now offers more than 11,500+ learning resources. These include over 6,500 courses (plus labs, learning paths, and certification paths).
With so many courses to pick from, it can be difficult to find the best ones. So we’ve analysed Pluralsight’s catalog to identify the top 100 courses offered on the platform.
Furthermore, here’s a tip: Pluralsight likes to offer “free weeks”, from time to time — an excellent occasion to take courses and earn free certificates of completion.
Certificates

Pluralsight offers a 10-day free trial for both of its subscription plans. That isn’t that long, but if you’re motivated and have some free time, you can squeeze a lot of learning into 10 days.
And since Pluralsight specializes in short courses, with durations ranging from 30 minutes to a few hours, you may even earn a bunch of free certificates along the way, for free.
Above, you can see some of the certificates of completion I’ve earned during a Pluralsight “free week”. They do these from time to time, so keep an eye out.

100 Top Pluralsight Courses
At Class Central, to write articles like the 250 Top Free Udemy Courses or 100 Most Popular Online Courses of All Time, we leverage the platforms’ enrollment numbers.
But unlike other platforms, Pluralsight doesn’t share how many learners are enrolled in each of its courses. So for Pluralsight, we used the number of ratings as a proxy for popularity. We’ve collected the top 100 Pluralsight courses with over 100 ratings of 4.9 or higher, ranked by learner reviews.
