Alfa Romeo has unveiled the 2026 Tonale, complete with a special edition of the premium compact SUV called Sport Speciale. It’s been just three years since Alfa Romeo launched the Tonale as a 2024 model, and it hasn’t been a great seller. Only 3,383 units were sold in 2024, and sales need to improve. It certainly isn’t the compact’s looks holding it back. But for 2026, it gets sharper styling that includes a more sculpted bumper and revised grille. Additionally, Alfa has paid attention to the Tonale’s interior and driving dynamics while dropping the plug-in hybrid powertrain option.
