The Honda CR-V is a regular favorite as a family SUV for us and Honda’s best-selling vehicle in America. And remember, the Honda Civic is still wildly popular. This generation CR-V arrived just a couple of years ago a bit bigger, moving away from the previous generations of quirky styling, and with a trim ladder pushing Honda’s hybrid tech. Honda told us that more than half the CR-Vs sold are now hybrid-powered. For 2026, there’s a mild refresh of the popular family SUV that brings more or better standard trim and adds an off-road-biased Trailsport trim to the lineup.
