The 2026 Nissan Sentra is here, ushering the Japanese compact sedan into its ninth generation. Nissan first introduced the Sentra back in 1982,as a replacement for the Datsun 310. It has gone on to sell over 6.5 million units in the United States alone, and over 2 million of those are still on the road today. While the outgoing Sentra was far from dull, this new one is far more exciting to look at. Nissan describes it as “daring, vitalizing, and resonating,” three words that could also describe the new electric Leaf.
