Longleaf Industrial is ready to get moving on a two-building, 386,000-square-foot industrial project in Garner. Former NHL player Tim Brent is leading the effort for Longleaf, which is expected to cost $60 million. It will be called White Oak Industrial.
The Triangle Business Journal reports that Longleaf paid $9.9 million for a vacant plot in the Greenfield North Industrial Park, just off I-40. Work on the 36-acre site’s buildings will begin next month, and delivery is expected by the end of 2026. The first building will be 216,164 square feet and have four main entrances. The second building will be 170,100 square feet and also have four main doors.
Construction won’t start on the second building until the first is mostly leased up.
Both spec buildings will be designed to serve tenants from distribution to advanced manufacturing.
Brent said funding is from a construction loan and a capital partner.Â
