Essex Realty Group has completed the sale of 930 W. Winona St., a 64-unit multifamily property located in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood.
The apartment building consists of 46 one-bedroom and 18 studio apartments, along with 35 parking spaces. The property has been diligently maintained by hands-on ownership. Additionally, the property benefits from a remaining Class 9 designation under the Cook County Property Tax Incentive Program.
Essex Realty Group Principals Kate Varde and Doug Imber, along with Managing Director Rick Ofman, represented the seller, while Principal Matt Feo represented the buyer. Financing for the acquisition was arranged by Essex Capital Markets.
Notably, this was the third time in the past 24 years that Essex has sold 930 Winona. Situated just half a block from Lake Michigan, 930 W. Winona St. offers immediate access to the lakefront and public transportation, including the CTA 146 bus line, which provides direct service to the Loop.
