Some of you reading this will remember what the humble pickup truck was like some 30 years ago. It wasn’t anything like what we have today, where pickup trucks need to fill the role of family hauler, weekend toy, work vehicle, and, in some cases, luxury car. Three decades ago, pickups were largely relegated to work duties, and creature comforts like heated seats, a panoramic moonroof, and active suspension would have been seen as ludicrous on a pickup truck’s options list.
