Hyundai XRT And N Could Join Forces For Fast, Fun Off-Roaders

Hyundai showed up to the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show flying high with the US-bound Elantra N TCR Edition and a new concept car that previews the future of XRT off-road models. CarBuzz had a chance to speak with Simon Lowesby, head of the Hyundai Design Center, who played a major role in working on the Crater Concept that graced the auto show stage in LA. While the Crater itself is not going into production, Lowesby says, “it’s a serious activity looking to the future.”
