All-wheel-drive systems have become a normal checkbox when buying a new car. Even some of the most affordable cars, like the Subaru Impreza, are outfitted as standard with the technology to help tackle rough terrain and slippery snow-covered roads. But it was one car, the Audi Quattro, that showed what powering all four wheels could do, be it on the rally stage or the black forest in Germany.
