Manhart, the German tuner best known for its BMW builds, has some pretty wild entries on its résumé. There’s the 922-horsepower MH4 900, for example, which tunes up the M4 CSL to ungodly levels of performance, while the 2 Series–based MH2 500 is only marginally less insane, at 502 hp. But just because you can doesn’t always mean you should, which is why we applaud Manhart’s latest build, the MHX6 500. Built atop a base-model X6 xDrive40i, the aggressively styled fastback SUV kicks out a handy 473 horses, a restrained increase of 98 compared to stock that’ll feel like a nice boost without becoming overkill.
