Construction firm Robins & Morton broke ground on the Tim and Jayne Donahue Patient Care Tower, a $135 million project sponsored by Jupiter Medical Center.
The five-story, 133,000-square-foot building adds 92 patient beds to the hospital’s existing 248-bed capacity, and will include oncology, cardiovascular, and orthopedic services. The Tower also features a high-tech Clinical Simulation Center dedicated to providing hands on training, skills development, teamwork, communications testing, workflows and new technology to promote innovation and ensure the highest levels of patient safety.
The project also included a $20 million five-deck parking garage with 845 spaces designed to meet the needs of the growing campus.
Robins & Morton served as the general contractor and ESa was the architect. This is the second project Robins & Morton has completed on Jupiter Medical Center’s campus (shown) in the last five years.
