Neither Lamborghini or the German tuning company Mansory are known for products you’d call ‘subtle’ or ‘restrained’, so it’s no surprise that when the two meet, the results aren’t exactly aimed at shrinking violets.
That’s once again the case here, as Mansory, not for the first time, has got its hands on Lambo’s latest V12 flagship, the plug-in hybrid Revuelto. This time, though, it’s gone further than sticking some new aero bits and wheels on the supercar – instead, it’s entirely rebodied the car in bare forged carbon fiber to create what it calls the Carbonado X.
A Carbon Copy

Mansory
The unpainted bodywork is clearly the biggest change Mansory’s made. It’s replaced every original panel with its own carbon versions, baked in its in-house autoclaves, and making no apologies whatsoever about the raw materials involved.
As you’ve likely noticed, though, it’s not the only change made. The Carbonado X gets other addenda like a new front splitter, sills, rear diffuser and gigantic extendable rear wing. There’s even a roof scoop to help the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 gulp down extra air. Topping off the exterior changes are Mansory’s own ‘FV.10’ carbon wheels, measuring 22 inches up front and 22 at the rear.
Meanwhile, the interior gets a similarly moody look, the swathes of dark Alcantara only offset by bursts of turquoise and backlit Mansory logos in the door panels and seat backs.
Not Just for Show

Mansory
Frankly, given that the Revuelto already packs a combined 1,001 HP output, a 2.5-second 0-62 MPH time and a 217 MPH top speed, Mansory could have gotten away with leaving the Carbonado X’s performance untouched. Naturally, though, it hasn’t.
Instead, it’s bumped peak power output to a mighty 1,105 HP. That increase comes courtesy of ‘various modifications’ to the V12, which now produces 917 HP and 564 lb-ft – up from the standard 814 HP and 535 lb-ft. The rest of the overall figure is made up by the unchanged trio of electric motors, and the result is that Mansory says the Carbonado X will hit 62 MPH in 2.3 seconds and top out at 221 MPH. And just to hammer home the theme, the engine’s cam covers have been remade in forged carbon too.
A True One-Off

Mansory
If you’re reading this from your superyacht or private island and thinking ‘yes, I’d like one,’ then we have bad news – it may be too exclusive, even for you. Mansory’s building just one Carbonado X for its showroom in Dubai.
If you need consolation, though, the tuner offers several slightly less bonkers takes on the Revuelto. Heck, even the police have one now.
