
- Lee & Associates announced that Courtney Knightstep-Buckout has joined the firm as Director in its Houston office. She will lead office landlord representation across the Clear Lake, Houston, and Baytown markets. Courtney has more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience. Prior to joining Lee & Associates, she held senior leadership roles as Senior Associate at Avison Young and Vice President at Madison Marquette.
- Hoar Construction hired Synjyn Dodd as director of healthcare. With more than 20 years of experience, Dodd brings a rare combination of healthcare operations experience and construction leadership. Throughout his career, he has led teams responsible for more than $10 billion in healthcare projects, ranging from hospital campuses to specialized treatment facilities.
- Newmark hired agency leasing specialists Dalton Knipe, Weston King and Lauren (Halstedt) Esquivel as Directors in its Dallas office, bolstering industrial and office capabilities in the region. Knipe and King specialize in industrial agency leasing throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area and will play a key role in establishing Newmark’s local industrial agency business. Esquivel brings more than 15 years of office leasing experience and joins Newmark’s established Dallas Office Agency Leasing team.
- Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI) announced the sale of a 107-room Best Western hotel property in Pecos, Texas. Allan Miller, investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Austin office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, Catering of Central Texas, LLC, and procured the buyer, a private investor group. The transaction received additional support from Chris Gomes of Miller-Gomes Hotel Team.
- JLL secured a 146,442-square-foot lease in North Houston on behalf of Constellation Industries, expanding the company’s manufacturing space in the market. The new facility at 12800 Aldine Westfield Road will more than double Constellation’s existing capacity and is expected to create 120 full-time jobs. JLL’s Jordan Raney and Jarret Venghaus represented Constellation Industries in the transaction.
