- The Tremor Off-Road Package is now available across all Super Duty models.
- Even lengthened Crew Cab models can be equipped with the Tremor kit.
- Chassis Cab models are also now offered with Ford’s Platinum interior trim.
We may only be a few months into the year, but a growing number of models are already being updated for the 2027 model year, and the Ford Super Duty range is the latest. According to Ford, it’s taken feedback from owners and is giving them the features they’ve been demanding.
One of the key changes is making the Tremor Off-Road Package available to all Super Duty models, including those also configured with the STX Appearance Package. Key upgrades included with the Tremor kit include 35-inch tires, a factory lift kit, electronic locking rear differential, skid plates, Rock Crawl Mode, and the Trail Control system.

Ford Super Duty models in Crew Cab guise, with a 176-inch wheelbase and 8-foot bed, can also be optioned with the Tremor package, along with a 48-gallon fuel tank.
The XL Off-Road Package has also been tweaked for 2027. First launched in 2023, it features 33-inch off-road tires, skid plates, and an electronic locking differential. According to Ford, some owners wanted even more ground clearance, but without any graphics or interior upgrades. With this in mind, the new XL Off-Road 35-Inch Tire Package has been announced.

In addition to larger 35-inch tires, it includes a higher ride height, a limited-slip front differential, an electronic locking rear diff, performance shocks, Trail Control, Rock Crawl Mode, Trail Turn Assist, and skid plates under the transfer case and fuel tank. For those who don’t need 35-inch tires, 33-inch ones are also available through the newly-named XL Off-Road 33-Inch Tire Package.
Ford has also now made its Platinum trim series available on F-350, F-450, and F-550 Chassis Cab models, meaning owners can have a high-end interior on models popular among upfitters, often fitted with custom beds or morphed into overlanding rigs, horse haulers, and tow rigs.
