Among the various challenges EVs present to automakers, one of the trickier ones is making them more involving and engaging. Certainly they’re exciting to launch with their impressive power and torque, but other aspects of the driving experience are lost when there aren’t sounds, gears, and fewer mechanical connections to work with. Hyundai Motor Group has certainly been trying to add back some involvement in its high-performance EVs, such as with various acceleration sounds and even simulated gearboxes. Genesis is now adding a contribution with some special attention paid to the throttle pedal in the GV60 Magma.
