Earlier this year, Chevrolet claimed that its Corvette ZR1X could run an eight-second quarter mile. It showed that the new gas-electric Corvette was incredibly quick, which we had already expected based on the massive power figures and all-wheel drive. But can the Corvette ZR1X really do eight-second quarter miles? Can it do it in the hands of real owners, and not GM test drivers? This video shows that it absolutely can.
