
NewQuest has broken ground on the multi-tenant component of the $400 million Texas Heritage Marketplace. The multi-tenant phase is focused on five acres of park-like greenspace, now dubbed Heritage Grove, surrounded by 35,000 square feet of dining concepts and spa- or fitness-related retail, and 100,021 square feet for four junior anchors in the bull’s-eye of the project.
NewQuest is eyeing a Q1 2027 delivery for the 101,021 square feet of junior anchor spaces earmarked for Academy + Sports, Burlington, Spec’s Fine Wines & Spiritsand Ulta Beauty. Heritage Grove also is slated to come on line at that time as will the adjacent EoS Fitness.Â
Texas Heritage Marketplace’s anchors – Lowe’s Home Improvement Store, Target and a membership-based wholesale club – are in various stages of construction on their big boxes, with staggered openings slated to start in September.
Arch-Con Corp. of Houston is NewQuest’s general contractor for multi-tenant retail construction and site work. AO is the architect of record.
