For most of the 20th century and part of the 21st, the large, luxurious land yacht was the central fixture in the American automotive market. Anybody who was anybody lusted after some sort of big Cadillac, Lincoln, or Chrysler at some point in their lives. There’s a certain allure to those big barges that can’t be scratched by something like a luxury crossover or a two-door Infiniti. It seems Lincoln was one of the last American companies to actually produce one.
