Ariel Property Advisors has been retained to sell 123 Remsen St., a French Second Empire building in Brooklyn Heights. Offered at $12 million, the property is marketed for sale for the first time in more than a century, having served as the headquarters for the Brooklyn Bar Association since the early 1900s. Ariel partners Michael A. Tortorici and Sean R. Kelly, Esq. are leading the assignment with support from Nicole Daniggelis, Stephen Vorvolakos and Luke Rizzo.
Spanning four stories plus a basement, the 41-foot-wide elevator building offers more than 14,000 gross square feet of space, nearly 10,600 of which sits above-grade. Built as the Charles Condon House in the 1870s, the property contains abundant historical details, according to Ariel.
“While the property is sure to attract residential converters, its current layout also makes it a versatile, appealing opportunity for a variety of individual owner-users, nonprofits, schools and artistic organizations,” said Tortorici.
