
Barclay Group is awaiting approval from the Gilbert Planning Commission for a retail project within the 311-acre Harvest Grove development. Off Val Vista Drive and Germann Road, Barclay needs the town’s okay to start construction on 178,155 square feet of retail space across 13 buildings.
The Phoenix Business Journal reports a 99,000-square-foot Fry’s grocery store will anchor the retail complex, along with a 5,400-square-foot gas station with 16 pumps and a 1,100-square-foot convenience store.
Among the other buildings, there will be a vehicle servicing business, a Mountain America Credit Union branch, restaurants and a Quack Quack Car Wash with 1,054 parking spaces within the entire development.Â
Butler Design Group is the architect for the commercial aspect.
