Although better known for its Porsche 911–based handling packages, German motorsports firm Manthey Racing isn’t afraid to turn a wrench on the company’s other products. Amid myriad GT2 and GT3 versions, the company already offers a setup for the 981 and 982 generations of the Cayman. It’s also getting into electric cars as well, applying the same record-setting magic to the Taycan as it does to Porsche’s combustion-powered sports cars. In fact, a Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach package and Manthey Kit just set a new lap record at the Nürburgring, retaking the production electric sedan title back from the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.
