More than 800 of Chicago’s commercial real estate professionals recently gathered at The Old Post Office to celebrate the 38th Annual Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards presented by Associated Bank. The event raised $1.1 million to support the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
The annual awards dinner is the Food Depository’s largest fundraiser of the year. Since the partnership began in 1989, the real estate industry has helped raise millions of dollars to support the movement to end hunger.
“The Chicago commercial real estate community has been a faithful partner to the Food Depository over the past 38 years, helping to ensure that our neighbors across Chicago and Cook County have access to nutritious food,” said Kate Maehr, Food Depository Executive Director and CEO. “We are grateful for their shared belief that no one should go hungry in our amazing city.”
