Dodge and Chrysler are dusting off a few old nameplates and giving their customers “freedom of choice,” according to Stellantis Head of American Brands Tim Kuniskis. Citing a need for the automaker to expand into more relevant market segments, Kuniskis promised that Chrysler would move into a decidedly mainstream, practicality-focused role by 2030, allowing Dodge to refocus on enthusiast-oriented muscle cars and SUVs. Meanwhile, Jeep and Ram will get new models and powertrains, allowing Stellantis’ most profitable brands to be even more popular.
