There are certain names you can predict whenever you read a JD Power dependability survey, the report published by the consumer watchdog group once a year, tracking automakers and models by frequency of maintenance issues. You expect to see Lexus near or at the top, and a fair number of Toyotas filling out the most-dependable model lists by segment. But, for 2026, one name noticeably sits out the proceedings.
