CSL is a sacred name in the BMW universe, appearing on only the most sought-after models. It started with the company’s dominant touring car model, called the 3.0 CSL, and then disappeared for almost thirty years. When it returned, it was placed on one of BMW’s greatest M cars, the E46 BMW M3 CSL.
