Glasshouse has signed a long-term lease for 66,436 square feet at 3 World Trade Center. The 30-year agreement for a portion of the ground floor and the entirety of the second and third floors brings the event, hospitality and experiential venue operator to the World Trade Center campus for its fourth Manhattan location.
CBRE’s Chris Mansfield, Anthony Dattoma and Zachary Weil represented Glasshouse. The transaction involved a three-party structure among Glasshouse, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. URW represented itself.
“This transaction represents one of the most significant experiential leasing transactions completed in Manhattan in recent years,” said Dattoma. “Beyond creating a flagship venue for Glasshouse, this lease complements the continued momentum and surge of leasing activity across Lower Manhattan. The new venue is expected to attract more than 250,000 visitors annually, bringing additional energy and activation to the World Trade Center campus while further strengthening Downtown as one of New York City’s premier destinations for business, hospitality, culture and community engagement.”
