Ever since 2022, when BMW M first said its electrics would be quad-motor monsters and could make 1,341 horsepower, that figure stuck with pretty much everyone. It didn’t hurt when BMW let us ride shotgun in the M Vision Driving Experience prototype with its 13,269 pound-feet of torque and feel the punishment it could deliver. But now, the head of BMW M is tempering some expectations a bit.
