For as long as the car has been mainstream, pickup trucks have also been a feature on our streets, as a more utilitarian alternative with a large bed behind the cab and at least a modicum of off-road ability. It might, therefore, seem that a pickup truck, with all its ground clearance and low-end grunt, would not make the best performance car, but that hasn’t stopped many manufacturers from trying – starting with the Dodge Li’l Red Express, and now extending to models like the Ford Ranger Raptor. In fact, so many automakers have succeeded in making speedy trucks that we have more than enough to rank the ten fastest truck models available to buy in 2026.
