Jeep has used the Smoky Mountain Invasion in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee to unveil a new special edition. Aptly named the Wrangler Smoky Mountain, the model is the latest in the company’s Twelve 4 Twelve campaign.
Based on the four-door Wrangler Willys, the special edition embraces the blackout trend as it sports a gloss black grille, dark “Smoky Mountain” hood decals, and black 17-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch tires. They’re joined by steel rock rails as well as a body-color hardtop and fender flares.

Moving into the cabin, buyers will find Black Ferndale seats with Black Soulmate bolsters. They have a diamond plate-inspired center as well as a 1941 Willys parachute graphic on the backrests.
The special touches continue with Terracotta contrast stitching and metallic Blaze Orange accents. The dashboard also features an Addax technical-pattern as well as anodized carbon trim rings.
The latter details largely fly under the radar, but there’s an eye-catching shifter medallion featuring a mama bear and her cub. Last but not least, there’s a unique plaque on the rear swing gate that shows a 1941 Willys parachuting into the Smoky Mountains at night.
In terms of equipment, buyers will find heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a dual-zone automatic climate control system. They’re joined by a universal garage door opener and a 12.3-inch Uconnect infotainment system.
The Smoky Mountain Edition package will be offered on the 2027 Wrangler Willys with either the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine or the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6. The former produces 270 hp (201 kW / 274 PS) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque, while the latter develops 285 hp (213 kW / 289 PS) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm). Both engines are paired exclusively to an eight-speed automatic transmission on the special edition.
Speaking of the powertrain, the model comes equipped with Dana 44 front and rear axles, 4.10 gearing, and a locking rear diff. The company also throws in a standard trailer hitch.
Jeep is currently accepting orders and said pricing will start “$80 above a popularly equipped Wrangler Willys.” That’s vague, but the 2026 Wrangler Willys 4-Door starts at $44,940 and adding some of the aforementioned equipment brings the price up to around $51,000.
The special edition will also be offered in Canada, where it will cost $2,610 CAD over a similarly-equipped Wrangler Willys.
