Two of Hyundai’s biggest initiatives over the last 20 years have been developing its luxury and performance brands: Genesis and N, respectively. They produce world-class machines, and their origins trace back to a pair of complementary vehicles: the Hyundai Genesis Sedan and Coupe. While the sedan evolved and spawned the Genesis brand, the Coupe, Hyundai’s first serious sports car, never saw a successor. Still, the car showed Hyundai’s performance potential. Today it’s a performance bargain.
