These days, we often call out cars like the Nissan GT-R and Nissan Frontier for having gone so many model years without a redesign – 18 and 17 years, respectively – but little did you know that Alfa mastered the art of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” with the 105/115 series Alfa Romeo Spider a long time ago. Granted, it only did this because the company was broke at the time, which explains why the Alfa Romeo Spider remained in production from 1966 to 1994 (28 years!). For nearly three decades, it maintained the same design and form factor underneath: two seats, engine at the front, and drive at the rear. Best of all, you can now buy an old Alfa Romeo convertible for not a lot, at least compared to some classic cars, and they hold their value well.
