Over the past few years, it seems automakers have been trying to reinvent things that didn’t really need reinventing. We’re seeing electric door handles that have brought up concerns about emergency entry and exit. We have touchscreens taking over controls that were otherwise very simple and intuitive. Tesla has been doing this for years, and it doesn’t seem as though they’re done trying to solve solved problems.
