The Mission S is part of Porsche’s Sportwagenschmiede ’35 strategic realignment. Rather than serving as a standalone hypercar concept, it represents a broader look at how the German automaker intends to develop its sports car lineup in the coming years.
The most significant announcement is the development of a new mid-engined super sports car platform positioned above the iconic Porsche 911. According to Porsche Chairman Michael Leiters, the goal is to establish a permanent and versatile addition to the company’s customer offering, rather than introduce a limited-run model.
