For 2027, Toyota is rolling out a number of changes to the RAV4. The plug-in hybrid versions will all be fitted with faster-charging hardware and the Woodland has been given more ground clearance.

The Woodland in particular is receiving new springs, shocks and jounce bumpers which put its ground clearance at 9.1 inches. As for the plug-in hybrids, they all have DC fast-charging capability and a North American Charging Standard (NACS) port on the driver’s side. The onboard AC charger has been uprated to 11 kW for Level 1 and 2 use.
There are alterations across the rest of the line too. A backup-camera washer is now standard on any 2027 RAV4 and the trial for Remote Connect has been extended from one year to five. On the all-wheel-drive versions, Multi-Terrain Select has done away with Trail mode in favor of Rock & Dirt and Mud & Sand. Snow mode can be found on the drive-mode selector with Normal, Eco, Sport and Custom.
The 2027 Toyota RAV4 hybrid models will arrive by the end of the year while the plug-in variants are set for early 2027. The front-wheel-drive HEV LE is priced from $32,300 and the PHEV SE from $42,100, not including the destination fee.
