TL;DR
- Samsung has started rolling out One UI 9 to the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro in the US.
- The update carries the firmware version G766USQUADZJ7.
- One UI 9 introduces greater customization for the Quick Settings panel, a location privacy indicator, and more.
Even as Samsung begins testing One UI 9.5 for the Galaxy S26, it’s still busy finishing up its rollout of One UI 9. A month ago, the update started rolling out for the Galaxy XCover line, with last year’s Galaxy XCover 7 Pro being among the first to get it. However, the rollout was only happening in South Korea at the time. Now the update has reached US shores.
Owners of Samsung’s rugged flagship can now update their device to One UI 9. According to SamMobile, the rollout is starting with the carrier-locked version of the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro. However, the rollout for unlocked variants shouldn’t be far behind. The build carries the firmware version G766USQUADZJ7.
