EYA LLC, a D.C.-based urban infill residential developer, is advancing two major residential projects in Northern Virginia.
The firm’s Prosperity Park project received approval from the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, and the Idylwood Hill development reached a key milestone with the closing of its 6.97-acre site in Falls Church. The two projects will bring new housing, open space and neighborhood connections to Fairfax County.
At Prosperity Park, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors approved the redevelopment of a more than 40-acre site in Merrifield by EYA in partnership with Link Logistics. The approval clears the way for a new mixed-use neighborhood with up to 1,900 homes, including both multifamily and townhomes.
In Falls Church, the closing of the 6.97-acre property at 7426 Idylwood Road marks the next major milestone for Idylwood Hill, a new 70-home townhome community adjacent to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. EYA acquired the property from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, with Bernstein Management serving as an equity partner.
