President Trump on Monday afternoon is expected to announce that the NFL draft will be hosted in Washington, D.C., in 2027.
A source told The Hill that officials hope to hold it on the National Mall.
The three-day event, which typically draws thousands of fans to the host site, is set to take place in Pittsburgh in 2026.
The White House has said only that Trump make a “sports announcement” on Monday at 1 p.m. EDT.
