Nissan’s First Electrified Pickup May Soon Spawn An SUV

Nissan surprised pickup fans last month when it unveiled the midsize Frontier Pro at the Shanghai Auto Show (Auto Shanghai 2025). Completely unrelated to the Frontier pickup sold in the U.S., the Frontier Pro is Nissan’s first electrified pickup and the automaker’s first plug-in hybrid.
