In a land where everything seems to be super-sized and people rush to get the latest jumbo SUV, wouldn’t it be nice to own something super-small instead? On the face of it, most Americans don’t seem to think so, because microcar maker Smart‘s tiny two-seater Fortwo never took off here, dwarfed as it was by Suburbans and Escalades, their drivers peering down onto the little tike with puzzled bemusement.
