Ram made a big splash a few years ago with the announcement of its surprisingly near-production BEV pickup called the Ram REV and range-extended hybrid pickup called the Ram Ramcharger, with the company citing plenty of demand at the time for both models as it began taking early deposits. Well, things have dramatically shifted in those few short years since Ram’s announcements, and the automaker had to pivot to prioritize the hybrid last year as demand for BEV trucks began to slip, and both were delayed from 2024 to a 2025 launch date.
