American Honda, the Japanese automaker’s U.S.-based subsidiary, announced today that it would be a founding partner for the 2028 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games held in Los Angeles. As part of the sponsorship, Honda will provide Team USA Olympians and Paralympians with easily accessible transportationt, including its upcoming 0 Series EVs and the Acura RSX all-electric crossover. Both the 0 Series Saloon and SUV are expected for a 2026 debut, and the Acura RSX should arrive later this year, so the Olympics won’t serve as the launch for Honda’s electrified nameplates. But expect to become very familiar with them (and other Honda products like the stellar hybrid-intensive Civic) in 2028 nonetheless.
