Stellantis has already had to delay its plans to introduce its new inline-six cylinder gas engine into its all-new Dodge Charger muscle car, which has so far only been offered in all-electric Daytona guise up until now. That hasn’t proven very popular, and that new Hurricane inline-six engine has had trouble getting started in Dodge’s related brands like Ram, with concerns over reliability, performance, and price. Now, hot off the heels of rumors that the glorious Hemi V8 engine might make a comeback in the next-gen Charger, there are new rumors that the old Pentastar V6 could also make a comeback, hopefully as a more affordable powertrain option in the new gas Charger lineup.
