The off-roading craze that has swept the car industry hasn’t stopped with traditional internal-combustion vehicles. Hybrids are starting to be fitted with chunkier tires and more rugged styling, and so are EVs. Hyundai has added an XRT version of the Ioniq 5, and Ford has a Mustang Mach-E Rally. If you’re really wanting to get far off road with an EV, though, you’ll want to look at a truck, and there are some interesting examples made with that in mind.
