- Some speculate this could be a track-only version of the potent twin-turbo V8 Jesko.
- The car features a bespoke rear wing and a new vertical brake light.
- It’s also possible this car could be a bespoke one-off commission.
The Koenigsegg Jesko is just about as crazy as a hypercar can get, but it seems the Swedish brand is working on something even more insane. Over the past few days, Koenigsegg has started teasing an intriguing new model, with speculation rife that it’s either a mystery new model or an upgraded version of the Jesko. Whatever the case may be, it’s bound to send shockwaves through the competition.
In the teasers, where Koenigsegg says “perfection is a moving target,” we’re provided with glimpses of the new model ahead of its debut in less than 12 hours. One of these teasers shows the car has an exposed carbon fiber body with a prominent NACA duct painted white. A separate teaser offers a glimpse of the model’s front wheel arch, while another showcases an upgraded twin-plane rear wing.

The most revealing photo shows the car from the rear. We can see it has similar rear arches and wing mirrors to the Jesko, but the rear wing is different from the one found on the Jesko Attack. It does not appear to sit quite as high as the Attack’s wing, nor does it have the same curves. However, it does continue to be mounted to the engine cover. The wing sits flat and has large endplates. A small vertical brake light is also visible.
Some have speculated that this new car could be Koenigsegg’s entrant into the Le Mans Hypercar class, a category in which Christian von Koenigsegg expressed interest several years ago. But the aero does not seem radical enough for a racing prototype. Perhaps the more likely explanation is that this will be a track-only version of the Jesko, produced in limited numbers for some of the brand’s VIP clients. It could even be a wild new one-off.
Whatever Koenigsegg has up its sleeve, we won’t have to wait long to see it. Stay tuned to Carscoops throughout the day.
