Ahead of the Goodwood Festival of Speed next week, Ariel has unveiled an almighty evolution of the already crazy Ariel Atom 4R. How crazy is crazy? Well, the 4RR takes its Honda Civic Type R-sourced 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine and dials in all the way up to 525 horsepower. That’s 210 hp more than the Civic Type R boasts in a car that weighs almost nothing. Effectively, the Atom 4RR is the spiritual successor to the Ariel Atom V8, but the V8 only had 475 hp to play around with; this has an extra 50.
