The possibility of greener combustion fuels has attracted the attention of a variety of companies, including a number of automakers. Porsche, in particular, is working on the technology, and it already has a synthetic gasoline factory in South America. Fuel from that factory even powers vehicles at some of its brand experience centers. Now, another company has made some major strides in synthetic fuel creation. It’s called Synhelion, and it just fueled an Audi Sport Quattro in a classic car tour using gasoline from its solar-powered fuel refinery. That Audi was completely stock, showing that the fuels are fully compatible with current and classic combustion cars.
