Reports are emerging that it could take just 21 minutes for the batteries in BMW’s brand-new iX3, the first of the German brand’s ‘Neue Klasse’ of all-electric models to be launched, to charge from 10 to 80 percent. Impressively, and rather fittingly, this would align BMW’s electric alternative to its mid-sized X3 with the likes of Porsche’s electric Macan and Audi’s SQ6 e-tron in terms of charging speed.
